Chaka Khan was given the nickname ‘Queen of Funk,’ one that she truly deserves. She began her 5-decade long career as the singer of the band Rufus, which found major success with songs like “Tell Me Something Good” and “Do You Love What you Feel.” She ended up releasing songs on her own, which eventually caused Rufus to disband. Another hit song was “I Feel For You,” which was written for her by the very talented Prince, and her career has been going ever since. These days, she’s still releasing new music and performing, and was even asked to collaborate with Ariana Grande for the soundtrack of the remake of “Charlie’s Angels.”
