Olivia Newton John is probably best known for her role as Sandy in the 1978 movie, Grease, alongside John Travolta. Although before that, the Australian singer was already making music and winning awards early on. By the time the 80s rolled by, she had released 14 songs, with “Physical” becoming the most popular one of all. The video showed off John’s perfect physique in tight neon leotards, eventually making her one of America’s leading icons for fitness. John still continues to perform up until now, even going on tour from time to time.
