Oftentimes, patients that have bronchitis suffer from chest tenderness and soreness due to the constant coughing caused by the bacteria or virus affecting them. Since bronchitis causes a constriction of the vessels, taking deep breaths can be painful and difficult to do. Plus all the mucus secretion, fatigue, lack of sleep, fever and chills can also add to the sensitivity to the body. Unfortunately, this is one sign that is often experienced by people suffering from chronic bronchitis since their symptoms ostensibly never go away.
