An actress of the 90s, Fairuza Balk was one of those names that you just knew had to come from a hippie family. True enough, her father, Solomon Feldhouse, happened to be a leading member of a 60s psychedelic group called ‘Kaleidoscope,’ which also meant that Fairuza spent much of her younger years traveling around the world. She eventually found her place in Vancouver and was able to focus on her career with the help of her mom. She actually came out in quite a number of films, but was probably best known for her work in ‘The Craft’ and the critically acclaimed film ‘American History X’ with Edward Norton.
