Drew Barrymore has been part of the Hollywood crowd since the day she was born. That’s what happens when your parents are influential Hollywood actors, especially her father, the late John Barrymore. Her first big role came in the movie ‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’ when she was just 7-years old, and thankfully for Drew, her career kept flourishing from her first appearance on the big screen. Producers, directors and fans couldn’t get enough, and just like most kids born into the spotlight, she has lived much of that crazy, party-hard, Hollywood life that most young actors do.

In her early rebellious years, Drew got into alcohol and drugs quite young and ran in the same circles as the Courtney Love, even going to Studio 54 with her mom who she shares was more a best friend than she was a mother. Eventually though, Drew grew up, got clean, got married, had kids, and realized that her health was more important to her, even becoming a huge advocate for running. Despite her setbacks into drugs and the like when she was younger, Drew’s career has never stalled, continuously getting big roles in films and just enjoying being a mother to her two daughters, sharing “They’ve made me such a calmer, better person.”
