The name Macaulay Culkin is synonymous to quite a number of things. Aside from the ‘Home Alone’ movie franchise, Culkin had starred in other movies like ‘Richie Rich’ and ‘My Girl,’ but the most controversial thing of all was his friendship with the late Michael Jackson. In spite of Jackson being accused of molesting the young boys that he had very close relationships with, Culkin and he remained very close with Jackson until the day he died. Culkin slowly got burnt out from all his acting gigs and after starring in 15 films in a span of 7 years, he decided he needed a break.
Where Is He Now?
Unfortunately for the young actor, like many others that start off as early as he did, he would have a troubled childhood filled with different types of drugs, even getting arrested at one point for possession. Despite the break that he took from acting, which spanned at least 4 years, when he decided to come back to the big screen, his career was still riddled with problems even though he was able to land roles that he liked. The actor even went into music, putting out an album with his band, ‘The Pizza Underground,’ but never truly finding stardom for their work. These days, he still does acting but his name is no longer a headliner like how he was years ago, but at least he still has some money in the bank, around $16 million to be exact.
