Inconsistent Policies

Pearson was insulted and baffled by how the school handled the situation. On top of not allowing the four-year-old to eat the packed lunch, they were also inconsistent about their healthy eating policies. This was not the first time that Natalee had gone to school with cookies, and as it was nearing the end of term, there was no indication that sending cookies with a kid was a problem. Furthermore, the school was known to give jelly beans to kids in after-school care, and had recently asked parents to provide candy for school activities.
