In the middle of the afternoon, what most people would call “broad daylight”, Savanna and Zoyee were singing along to an Oscar-winning song from a major studio, about how the cold never bothered them anyway. They heard an innocuous knock on the door. Savanna turned the TV off and walked into the hallway in front of the door to see who could be outside on the porch. She did not expect her sister Yesenia to come back for several days, so who could it be? Perhaps her sister had a delivery that she neglected to mention before she left the house? When she looked through the peephole though, she suddenly realized that something was very, very wrong.
