The intruder continued to knock on the door for a few minutes more, then suddenly they stopped. Savanna breathed a sigh of relief, but it was short-lived. Suddenly, to her horror, Savanna heard the doorknob begin to rattle. The man apparently was trying to get in, even though the door was locked. The knocking began again, louder and more intimidating. The fourteen-year-old did not know what was happening.
