This “True Blood” actress revealed that her engagement to girlfriend to a New Orleans woman who goes by the name of Chef Shonda on a series of photos posted on Instagram in November. The 38-year old actress described Shonda as “the light of my life” and the “fire of my loins.” The star discreetly came out as she announced engagement to her female chef future partner. She shared, “Overthinking is the biggest cause of our unhappiness. Keep yourself occupied. Keep your mind off things that don’t help you. Think positive.” The star is best known from playing Tara Thornton on True Blood and has played queer roles on television where she had a lesbian relationship.
