Lady Gaga has catapulted herself to super stardom after winning an Academy Award for the movie A Star is Born. However, before she earned her stripes, her anthem ‘Born This Way’ has already made her a gay icon. It was her “freedom song.” Lady Gaga opened up about her sexuality in Rolling Stones and said the men are intimidated by her bisexuality. In the interview, she expressed, “the fact that I’m into women, they’re all intimidated by it. It makes them uncomfortable. They’re like, ‘I don’t need to have a threesome. I’m happy with just you.’” Gaga identifies as a bisexual woman and has been open about it from the beginning of her career. In 2009 interview with Barbara Walters, she candidly spoke about it as a part of the veteran journalist’s “Most Fascinating People” series. Her hit song, “Poker Face” is about her bisexual identity.
