Çağla Kubat, born in Izmir, Turkey, is an actress and model, aside from being a windsurfing champion, winning the IFCA windsurfing European Slalom Championship in 2005 as well as the 2013 IFCA Junior, Youth & Masters Slalom World Championships. She has also tried her hand in acting, appearing in two Turkish television series. A member of the Fenerbahçe sailing & windsurfing team, Çağla also runs her own windsurfing school Çağla Kubat Windsurf Academy with her husband, surfer Jimmy Diaz. The statuesque beauty, who speaks both English and Italian fluently, is also a former beauty queen, representing Turkey in the 2002 Miss Universe pageant.
