Although this tip doesn’t go for bars or nightclubs, never attempt to buy alcohol after 11 p.m. from grocery or actual liquor stores. Most of them close at 11 so be sure to stock up on your preferred bottles of alcohol before you start the night. If for some reason you can’t help yourself and there is still that one shop willing to sell you a bottle, be prepared to pay a pretty price for it.
