Never Be Too Loud, Especially At Night

While it’s okay to drink and party when in Barcelona, make sure that you don’t act all drunk and disorderly on your way back to your hotel. Never be too loud, especially at night when people are already asleep. Many times, you’ll find that getting back to your hotel requires you to walk through some narrow streets and alleyways. If you manage to wake up any locals due to your being intoxicated, don’t be surprised if you get a bucket of water poured over your head. If you wake them up, they’re going to make sure they get back at you for the inconvenience. You are in their country after all so make sure you respect their rules.
