Bullfighting in Spain has been going on for many centuries, where a bull and bull fighter face off in a ring. And while the bull hardly ever dies from the event, the fact that it is fighting while getting gorged by a number of very sharp lances, it’s also incredibly cruel. Thankfully, the sport was finally banned back in January of 2012 precisely for the reason that it’s considered animal cruelty. Never watch a bullfight, even if you happen to hear of one that is still going on. Honestly, there’s nothing beautiful about a bull getting beaten to near death just for sport.
