Never Expect Them To Be Punctual

This is another example of a characteristic that is true to almost all locals. Never expect punctuality when it comes to Spanish folk. It is incredibly normal for them to be tardy, sometimes even more than an hour or so after the time you agreed to meet. Expect that if they tell you they’ll meet you at 1, it’s more likely that they’ll get there around 2, or even 3. You might find it very rude but try not to take it personally. It’s truly just the way they are and what they’re used to. Besides, if you’re late, they won’t think anything of it.
