Never Choose Barceloneta Beach

One of the more popular beaches in Barcelona is Barceloneta Beach, but it is also densely populated. Since it’s such a well-known spot for visitors, there are always tons of people walking up and down the shore, and sadly there are times when it’s littered with cigarette butts and other types of trash. Rather than go here, opt to visit other beaches instead like Nova Icaria, Ocata or Mar Bella beach instead. It may not be as popular but you will probably enjoy it more if you don’t have to elbow your way around just to get an empty patch of sand to relax on for a bit.
