Don’t worry about having to give tips when eating or dining in restaurants like when you do in the U.S. as the bill already includes a 20% addition specifically for the purpose. This is one of the reasons why it’s expensive to dine in the islands or at your resort. However, if you feel that you have received great service, feel free to add some francs as this will surely be appreciated. It may not be required or expected, but it doesn’t mean that it’s taboo as well. This goes for the bartenders, tour guides, restaurant servers, doormen, or bellhops, who you may hand out tips to if you feel they’ve earned it.
