They say there are snakes in every jungle, but in Bora Bora, the only actual snake you have to worry about are those in the figurative sense. There are no poisonous snakes on the island so you don’t have to worry about dozing off outside the comfort of your resort. You can take a nap on the beach all you want or take a stroll at night in relative darkness without worrying about stepping or stumbling into a slithering creature that will inject you with venom. The same goes as well for other dangerous land animals, unless you count dogs among them.
