Although there are taxis in Bora Bora, they are considered very expensive, especially at night. The best way to get around the island would be to rent a bicycle, which would be the most affordable, just keep an eye on it when sight-seeing; or a scooter (or moped), or a car rental, although there are not that many so you need to book it in advance. Renting a buggy is also an option, if it’s just the two of you. There is also the le truck, but service is not exactly regular in Bora Bora as compared to the other islands.
