We’re not suggesting that you travel half way across the world and have no plan whatsoever, but at the same time, you don’t have to stick to your itinerary completely. One of the beautiful things about traveling is that some of the best parts of your trip can be found in the unlikeliest of places, so be sure to keep an open mind. Be willing to go off the beaten path at some point and try something new. Maybe explore a new town, or go hiking when you never really would before. Just remember to always tell someone where you’ll be, because your safety is far more important than any IG-worthy spot.
