It is legal to be naked in San Francisco. It is a very liberal city after all. Many locals exercise their rights to go naked in parks, beaches, and in some shopping places (like the Haight). So try not to get scandalized, you will be the one who looks weird. But, thankfully, there are rules to going naked. One is that naked people must place something like a towel underneath them if they sit down on a bench. And if you want to walk around naked, you require a parade permit. Well, it seems logical since you plan to parade yourself naked. So if you want to let it all hang out (no pun intended), feel free, just know the rules.
