Granted that Fisherman’s Wharf is a very popular tourist spot, it is mainly because of the view, not the food. If someone has advised you to eat at Fisherman’s Wharf because it has the best seafood in the city, that person definitely is not from San Francisco. But if you are not finicky about taste and prices (it is expensive), go ahead and enjoy. Also it is a very crowded place as most tourists have to see the place, so hopefully you don’t mind crowds.
