Tartan Gone Wrong

The wedding cake in the picture on the left has a distinctly Scottish feel to it, with its cream, red and green-colored tartan pattern, tastefully applied to different levels of the cake. The cake is made up of six differently shaped and sized tiers and looks elegant and sophisticated. The disastrous cake in the picture on the right side is what the couple actually received. One cannot even imagine the disappointment—and shock—they must have felt when they first saw their melted mess of a wedding cake. Whoever decorated it did not have a deft hand, and their attempt at tartan was very poor indeed. And the icing looks suspiciously like mustard, ketchup and something very green.
