This four-tiered, white wedding cake is classically pretty enough. The flower arrangement sitting atop it is lovely, with white rose and a mixture of purple and lilac blooms with sprigs of green. The whole effect is nice, but what is extremely difficult to ignore are the strange round shapes adorning all four layers. What are they? They may be someone’s idea of beautiful decorations for a wedding cake, but they resemble condoms too strongly for the cake to look good. What was the couple thinking? This cake with its controversial-looking decor surely got guests at the wedding talking!
