After the end of the war, Peggy realized Billie must be dead. It was 1945, and she never received any word on her husband. Not even any confirmation that he was dead. It was traumatic for her for sure, yet she felt that her beloved was no more. Still, given that, she still wanted answers, she wanted to know what happened to Billie.
