Anyone that has seen a single episode of any soap opera knows that they are always over the top, and Dallas was no different. While the character of Sue Ellen Ewing, played by actress Linda Gray, had to undergo some of the craziest storylines that only daytime television could provide, it was due to these insane plot twists that had people glued to their television sets every day, and Gray couldn’t agree more. She told the magazine Parade, “I felt that she (Sue Ellen) was the most interesting female character on television during the 80s because nobody knew what she was going to do or how she was going to react. And most of the time I didn’t know.”
