The 60s and 70s were definitely a time of great change, especially in the United States. It was the time when the sexual revolution was at its height, flower power was a life motto, people were clamoring to “make love and not war,” and the biggest music festival, known as Woodstock, took place. For three days, millions of people gathered together to listen to their favorite bands, smoke weed, sit around in muddy fields and promote peace and love. Even if there are music festivals these days, they were nothing compared to the glory of Woodstock and everything it represented.
