Symptoms Of Viral Hepatitis

Mahosot

Viral hepatitis is an infectious disease the causes liver inflammation and damage. Hepatitis is contagious and can spread through direct contact with infected bodily fluids, such as blood and semen, and contaminated food and water. However, because it does not always cause symptoms, you may transmit or contract this viral infection without knowing it.
All hepatitis infections affect the liver, making it swell and preventing it from functioning properly. The infections may be acute, lasting six months or less, or they may be chronic and persist for more than six months. You can carry the hepatitis virus for years without showing any signs, but over time, you may experience flu-like symptoms. You may also have abdominal pain, aching muscles and joints, lethargy, fatigue, or a general feeling of weakness, nausea and vomiting, a loss of appetite, dark urine, pale stools, and the telltale sign of liver disease, jaundice.
