Troy Tulowitzki was one of the best power-hitting shortstops in Major League Baseball before injuries slowed him down. Strong and powerful at 6’3”, he became a five-time All-Star, and two-time Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awardee during his stint with the Colorado Rockies from 2006 to 2015. However, he would also appear 11 times in the injury list, including missing all of the 2018 season due to bone spurs in both feet. Luckily for him, he has his wife, Danyll Gammon, with him through all the ups and downs of his career, which ended after 13 seasons. Danyll was his high school sweetheart from Freemont High School in Sunnyvale, California and was an athlete herself, a standout basketball in high school. The two married in November 2009 and became first-time parents to their son Taz, in 2014.
