One of the best hitters in major league baseball, Chicago Cubs outfielder and third baseman Kris Bryant found success very early on in his career, winning the National League Rookie of the Year award in 2015 then following it up with no less than the NL MVP trophy AND the World Series title in 2016. But baseball is not the only arena where he hit the jackpot early, as he and his wife Jessica Delp, who was an athlete herself, started dating as sophomores in Bonanza High School. It was actually Jessica’s mom who suggested she meet Kris, who was in her brother’s baseball team that time. Kris topped off his early success in his career by marrying his high school sweetheart just after his birthday in 2017. The young slugger and his retail manager wife recently announced that they are expecting their first child, a boy, this spring.
