Basketball great Dwyane Wade and current wife Gabrielle Union endured some pretty tough challenges before they tied the knot. In fact, Wade was already married to his high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Funches even before being drafted in the NBA and becoming “D-Wade,” three-time NBA champion and NBA Finals MVP. The two attended Harold L. Richards High School in Illinois and lived together with Siohvaughn’s family while Dwyane played for Marquette University. They married in 2002 after welcoming their first child, Zaire. He then joined the Miami Heat in 2003 where he won his first title and Finals MVP before the couple had their second child, Zion, in 2007. However, the two would separate not long after and went through a very bitter and public divorce which ended with Dwyane having custody of both children after the dust settled in 2013.
