It would be expected that the doctor who performed the radical procedure would also come under scrutiny, not only from the media, but from the medical profession. Doctors were shocked that Dr. Michael Kamrava implanted 12 embryos into Nadya Suleman. What made him allow this? Even if, as the doctor explained, it was all Nadya’s insistence, many were angered and said it was very unprofessional. Malpractice was looming over the head of Dr. Kamrava. Needless to say, Dr. Kamrava was investigated for his actions. Eventually, he had his medical license revoked. But further research into the doctor’s past revealed more. It seems Nadya’s case was not the first for Dr. Kamrava. In the past, he injected 7 embryos into a 48-year old patient, resulting in quadruplets. Unfortunately, the pregnancy was not as successful as Nadya’s.
