Things were just so different back then. If you can’t really understand it, go to a more recent TV show. Have you watched an episode of Mad Men? Back then, drinking in the workplace was allowed, and the attitudes and practices were so much different in the ’60s. The Bewitched actors enjoyed the perks and were allowed to sip on real liquor when their characters had to drink during a scene. You know what that means, right? Some may have gotten tipsy while working, and that was really okay with the producers and other actors on the show. Drinking was permitted!
