Bewitched was a comedy show about the misadventures of Samantha. This may not sound like much to you, but look deeper into the plot. Back in the mid-1960s, the thought of a separated couple featured on TV practically didn’t exist. However, this was a reality that the world had to deal with. It just wasn’t shown much onscreen. The show veered away from the norm and featured Samantha’s warring mom and pop, Endora and Maurice. These two helped the sitcom make TV history and people seemed to welcome these characters with open arms.
