Don’t limit your options for accommodations to hotels along Bourbon Street if you want to get some peace and quiet when you need some.  It may be convenient to stay where the action is, but it’s a lot more expensive and with the all-day and all-night parties raging in the vicinity, you’ll find it very challenging to get some needed sleep to recharge. There are fantastic hotels outside of the French Quarter, like those in the Central Business and Warehouse District which will give more value to your money. Another option would be to avail of accommodations that are advertised in Airbnb, as they can also be cheaper than hotels.
