This not only goes for the bar keeps and waiters or servers, bellhops, and tour guides, but also to the fortune tellers who rely mainly on tourists. Understand that people who work in the service industry depend a lot on tips and since there are a lot of people during holidays, it’s expected that they don’t get that much of a breather.  15% should be fine in restaurants, but if you really enjoyed your meal, as well as the service, 20% wouldn’t hurt.
