The swamps and bayous are teeming with life which are being taken advantage of by the business-minded through their swamp and bayou or wildlife tours where you can get a glimpse of alligators, armadillos, civet cats, bobcats, nutria, swamp deer, beavers, and many others. You can also do some kayaking on the bayou for a more active adventure and possible close encounters.
