This is basically a universal truth. You shouldn’t point your finger at anyone. In fact, employees at Disney are required to gesture using their hands when giving directions to guests. In Singapore, it’s considered especially rude when you point to them. They will get offended when you do so. If you must, gesture with your hands as well. And if you momentarily forget etiquette and use your finger, always show how sorry you are and apologize to them to pacify them immediately.
