It’s not too difficult to hold on to your garbage until you find an appropriate bin to throw it in. Just walk a few meters and you’re likely to find one. If you even attempt to throw trash anywhere, you’re most likely going to get fined. You can end up paying as much as INR 21,000 or you’ll be penalized to do community work, and this is something you wouldn’t want to do while you’re on vacation.
