Drinking Past the Permitted Hours

As you visit Singapore, keep your eyes open for signs around what they call the Liquor Control Zones. The cops are extremely strict about this, and if you’re caught with an alcoholic beverage in your hand while you’re out in public, your wallet is about to bleed dry. You could end up paying as much as $1000. Don’t drink in public from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am. If you’re in a restaurant enjoying a night out with friends, be sure to stay indoors because you could get accosted by the roving cops.
