Have you noticed a pattern? We sure have! Once again, we’re presented with yet another toy that fantasizes atomic bombs. This one by A.C. Gilbert named the U-238 Atomic Energy Lab was surprisingly real, it even included a small sample of actual atomic matter, as well as a cloud chamber where kids could view their work. While the Gilbert toy company reassured parents that their “play” nuclear physics atomic energy lab was just a toy, they smartened up after they realized that their little geniuses could do some real harm. If a kid had this today, they’d be picked up by the CIA.
