Apparently vintage toy makers were into making kids feel like they were working with the “real thing.” This Powermite working power tools were so much like the real thing that even the tiny hammers and screwdrivers were exactly like their daddy’s true-to-size ones! Plus there were electric drills, sanders and a bunch of saws sharp enough to ruin some of the furniture the kids decided to work on without losing any fingers! Of course there was no reassurance that parents wouldn’t lose their minds though.
