The Batman Water Pistol

History Daily

There are just so many questions we could ask about this vintage Batman water pistol. First of all, why is trigger – which is where kids would squeeze to get the water to squirt out – located there? Secondly, his rear is where the opening is to put the water inside in the first place. And thirdly, we know it’s a water gun but did they really need to make him bend over in that very suggestive way? Although DC couldn’t have known about how this Adam West plaything was going to pan out over the years, it was obvious that they didn’t really think about the design at all. It’s one that will haunt Adam West forever though.
