As a Stain Remover

Some make-up stains are notoriously difficult to remove. The good thing is that Vaseline can be used to remove these make-up stains. You just need a damp cloth, and a tiny dab of Vaseline, and you can use this to lift the make-up stains from clothes, pillows, blankest and sheets. You may ask then, what about the stain that the Vaseline left behind? If you used too much Vaseline to remove the make-up stain, you still left a mess. Albeit a different kind of mess. You can use alcohol or shaving cream to remove the stain left behind by the Vaseline. First, lie the garment flat, and use a plastic spoon or knife to scrape away as much of the Vaseline away. Then you need to soak a cotton ball or the tip of a washcloth in alcohol (preferably 70% isopropyl alcohol) and then rub it over the stain. Rubbing alcohol is particularly effective at removing this kind of stain, since alcohol can break down oily and waxy stains.
