Expensive leather bags are nice to the touch and elegant to look at. However, regardless how finely crafted these leather bags are, cracks and creases are bound to appear. You will need to properly take care of these, by cleaning them and also by applying leather moisturizer. Now, do we need to buy a special leather moisturizer? The answer, not really. Do you wonder why? It’s because we can just use a regular household item to moisturize our prized designer leather bag.

Just dab a small amount of Vaseline onto the leather bag, while using a piece of cloth (preferably a lint-free one or a microfiber cloth), rub the Vaseline unto the bag. Once the Vaseline is completely rubbed-in, wipe clean the leather bag with a slightly damp cloth. Your leather bag should look great again!

This will work on leather and patent leather. This will not work on rawhide leather.
