As soon as she “started showing”, Keely could no longer hide under baggy clothes. When a woman’s body goes through changes due to pregnancy, she shops for new clothes in the maternity section of the department store. This is what Keely did. She tried to hide her growing belly by wearing loose clothes. Her family and friends noticed her growing belly and style change. Though she never said she was pregnant, she got used to the constant congratulatory greeting she got from people around her. To avoid explaining her unexplained weight gain, she just went along with people assuming she was indeed pregnant.
