According to research, around 8% of premenopausal women develop large ovarian cysts and would be needing immediate medical treatment. Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsale had to go under the knife for a ruptured ovarian cyst. The “Underworld” actress recalls her experience to be really painful. She was quite vocal about her experience as she posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed on her official Instagram account. Her fans applauded her strength in showing the reality of the pain women experience when complications occur to a seemingly ordinary medical condition as an ovarian cyst.
