A survey was completed by the American Kennel Club, which found that a whopping 45% of people actually sleep with their dogs. Meanwhile, there was a Harris poll conducted in 2012 that was published in Psychology Today which actually showed that the number is higher. Humans and dogs have been co-sleeping since their domestication, beginning in the Stone age when man needed to find more ways to keep warm on those long winter nights.
