Head and Neck Raised

CTF

The Head and Neck Raised position is when your dog’s head and neck are raised. This is usually done by placing their heads on the side of their dog bed, possibly a couch cushion, or maybe even your leg or arm.
What this position normally means is that they might have an issue with breathing. Normally, this is more commonly seen in dogs that are suffering from chronic heart disease or other health problems.
Dr. Linda Simon explained, “Keep an eye out for worrying symptom such as faster breathing rate, noisy breathing, or a reduced ability to exercise.” In case you notice any of these issues or symptoms in your dog, be sure to get in touch with your veterinarian as soon as possible.
